Eating soluble fiber from foods like psyllium hulls, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease. A serving of psyllium hull powder provides 6 grams of the 7 grams of soluble fiber needed daily to achieve this effect.
Method of use
Mix vigorously one to two level tablespoons daily with at least 12 fluid ounces of water or juice and consume immediately. Be sure to drink plenty of additional fluids throughout the day. Start with small amounts and gradually increase your intake over several weeks.
