Henna is the only natural alternative to chemical hair dyes that are controversial for health reasons and harsh on hair. Rainbow Henna is 100% natural plant-based – no additives, chemicals, preservatives, mineral salts, or metals. Henna has been used and passed down around the world for over 9,000 years.

Red henna comes from a small shrub called Lawsonia, native to the Middle East, Western Asia, and North Africa. The leaves are dried and crushed into a fine powder. We also use plants: Blue Indigo, Cassia obovata, Calendula and Chamomile to create different shades of color. We select only the best plants from around the world to be used in our hair dyes.

Rainbow Henna covers every strand of hair. The shade of henna is reflected in the hair while enhancing your natural hair color. The hair shaft becomes smoother as the henna coats the hair shaft, giving the hair a shine by reflecting light. Regular use of henna gives the hair a stronger texture and gives it a great shape, which becomes more noticeable with each use.

Rainbow Henna dye lasts approximately 4 to 6 weeks, but it is safe to use more often.

Henna can be used on dry or wet hair, but it is important that the hair is clean and free of any sprays, gels or conditioners. If you shampoo it first, dry it before using henna.

Store in a cool, dry place. Fill by weight. Do not use on the eye area or if the scalp has open wounds. It is recommended to test on a strand if the hair is more than 20% gray.
