    Chlorophyll is a green pigment produced by plants and algae that gives them their distinctive green color. Chlorophyll is essential for photosynthesis, the process by which sunlight is converted into chemical energy. Chlorophyll can act as a free radical neutralizer, may help support the body’s detoxification processes, and has traditionally been used as an indoor deodorizer.
